Since 1988,Seven Roads Gallery has exhibited works of art under the mission statement: Art With Feeling And Presence. Linda Miller's skills mirror the eclectic tastes of Seven Roads Gallery's owner for both the usual and the unusual. She has experimented with a variety of media and unusual surfaces, such as buffalo skulls, painted animal portraits on rawhide rattles, buckskin shields and numerous works of art on rawhide drums during her association with White Thunder Wolf Trading Co.in Milwaukee, WI.

In Sedona,Arizona she extended her repertoire to traditional yeso retablos, altarpieces and images on rustic furniture for Wolf and Swan Co.As an art student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she majored in theater, later switching to fine art.Her specialty at UW-M was figurative drawing.

Her most recent works are acrylic on canvas or board, which include still life images, landscapes and figure studies. She is a member of the Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople and has exhibited her work with Seven Roads Gallery and its predecessors since 1990.

The subject of this 8X10 acrylic on canvas board painting is an old barn across the Kickapoo River near original location of the now defunct town of Kickapoo Center. Although weathered, this barn is in exceptionally fine condition.

This is a glass framed cartoon from the turn of the century. The caption states: Drummer rhymes with bummer, and when at you we glance, we think the words resemblance is something more than a chance. You are of course, a liar, and clumsy and crude at that; Your yarns are baggy at the knees, your gags all stale and flat.
