Deer Kachina This doll is signed simply, "L. Ponyah". Mr. Ponyah identified this kachina as a "sheep kachina", however the horns are typical of the deer kachina. There are some unusual touches about this doll which mark it as intricate and extremely well done. Note the bells carved on the knees. Hano Mana by Jacob Warner An unusual piece. First the signature is incised on the bottom with a knife and includes an elaboarte cliff dwelling scene. Spotted Corn Kachina Carved by Russell Sahmie. There are three distinguishing characteristics of this doll. First, there are two kachinas carved from one root. The reverse side is a Hopi maiden.
