This unusual piece features a small, inner cross with an ethereal image of the "Cristo" painted by Linda Miller. The larger, weathered ponderosa pine board cross frames the inner cross with the letters of the name for Christ- INRI- across the top. Total height is approx. 5 feet.

Owl Kachina
Joe Lucero is the carver. Slightly larger than his other two kachinas, measuring 8.5 inches. The curved wings at the ears and the snake in the owl's mouth are a nice touch. Joe mentioned that the case mask of the owl is usually white, however, he preferred the natural color highlighted by the addition a certain oil product.$ 240.00$ 240.00
Mexican Birdcage
A folk art piece found in a Tucson shop featuring antique pieces from Mexico. The life-like crow in the inside is made from chicken feathers on a plastic form. It measures 16X16X21 inches high including the base. $ 120.00$ 120.00

Rustic Antique Nicho
This wonderfully rustic nicho has seen many decades of life. The printed image of The Cristo is nearly gone save for the head and shoulder portion. Underneath the print, one can see the wood used for the rear portion of the case was a bottle crate. If there were glass windows originally, they have long since departed. San Francisco
This traditional image of St. Francis holding a skull and the Dove of Peace above, measures 26X35 in. The frame is a rustic wash finish over pine. The image of San Francisco with the "birds and bunnies" was a 20th century addition brought on by the patrons of santeros seeking a friendlier image of the saint. The skull, however, is not the macabre Halloween image but merely a reminder of our mortality.

Artisan Handcrafted Jewelry by Robert A. Miller
Swahili Necklace An unusual combination of primitive elements and newer polished beads. Starting near the brass hook and eye clasp there are small fluted brass beads, folowed by solid brass cylinders. Next comes salmon colored African sand- cast beads, rustic sand-cast discs, primitive copper hand hammered tubes followed by alternating sand cast and larger fluted, hollow brass beads. The piece is finished off with several round red coral beads, more brass and brass wound horn beads. Total length is 24" and it is strung on tigertail.$ 54.00$ 54.00

Madonna and Child
An unusual one-of-a-kind carved wood Madonna and Child. She stands 17.5 inches tall and has an antique patina. It is not signed and its true origin is unknown. The gold trim on her red and green robe is typical of Mexican carved saints. Given that she was purchased at the Tucson Gem and jewelry show that assumption is probably correct.The piece is created from a single block of wood.$ 195.00$ 195.00

Shooting Star
It is made from hand processed deer rawhide, imitation bald eagle wing feathers, red and blue trade wool, sinew, brain tan buckskin and brass hawk bells. The pouches are filled with a mixture of tobacco, cedar, sweetgrass, sage(both desert sage and white sage leaves) yerba santa, bitterroot and lavender. The provenance reads: The bullet passing through the hide of the deer ended its life and left a star shaped hole. The ghost dance birds prophesied a coming change where all who don't walk a true road will be cast aside. Some say the coming of this global change will be a meteor hit.

Deer Kachina
This doll is signed simply, "L. Ponyah". Mr. Ponyah identified this kachina as a "sheep kachina", however the horns are typical of the deer kachina. There are some unusual touches about this doll which mark it as intricate and extremely well done. Note the bells carved on the knees.
